Island Park Aug 14-17
Well, I know it's a little late to be posting this but i kept forgetting to put my pictures on the computer! So, now they are so here they are! :)
My singles ward went to Island park (out by west yellowstone) and stayed in this amazing "cabin." I say "cabin", because it was more like a lodge/hotel than anything! It was really amazing. I wish i would have taken a picture of the actual grounds but oh well. It wsa huge and absolutely beautiful. We played volleyball, went 4 wheeling, had campfires, went to a play in yellowstone, kristi and i bought these cool fishing vests and flies to go on them, we went kayaking in this gorgeous lake, we swung out into the water from the rope swing (so scary!) There were little mini lobsters in the water called Crawdads? Something like that! It was nasty! Jill dared me to pick one up but i just couldn't do it! I wish i would have, but oh well. I would have been screaming way more if i'd have touched it! It was really a fun trip and we all had a blast. For morning activities on Friday we separated into our teams and had this competition and my team (team USA) tied with the other team (team China). Those came about from the Olympics ha ha... anyway- it was seriously so much fun and I hope we will be able to go back again!
