My Piano is finally finished!
Okay it's finally done! My piano project photos are here! Woo hoo! It was a lot more work than i thought, but so worth it now that I'm done! Poor Shad can finally have this half of his garage back!
This was how I got it. Prior to any sanding..
All sanded and ready for stain...
Half way stained..
Funny story real quick.. Notice just under my right hand (photo below) and how it looks like stain was dripping down the side? Yeah... It was. I'd actually put my can just about the piano keys and when i opened to stain around them it was knocked off. Spilled all over the keys and Shad's newly finished garage floor... OOPSIE! It was everywhere! Splattered half way across the friggin room! I was so scared to tell Shad so I cleaned it up as fast as I could and then told him what had happened. hahaha he wasn't mad at all but he might have been if he'd seen how bad it was.. LOL. No not really, but I was too afraid to chance it. Luckily I had Mineral stuff to clean it up. Water doesn't help on oil based stains BTW. Anywho- this is oficially my first finished restaining project! woo hoo!
