The "Sunshine" State

Shad and I got visit Florida a couple weeks ago! He had to go for a security conference so i tagged along. It was such a blast. We drove all over and did a ton of awesome things. 

 This was Jessup Lake and it's full of Alligators! We didn't go on a boat ride because as we were trying to find the lake we wound up in a SUPER ghetto part of "town" (the hillbilly backwoods) and we weren't feeling the safest. So we left.

 This was our visit to Daytona Beach. The water was SO warm! I love the ocean so much. Notice the really dark clouds in the background? We got caught in this huge storm with lots of thunder and lightning.  Oh and the rain here isn't just sprinkles.

It POURS buckets.

 This was Bugga Gumps right on the ocean. Coconut shrimp was tasty.. mmm

We went to Universal Studios to see.....

 This was the sunset at the Gulf of Mexico when we were in Clearwater.

 This crab was in Cocoa Beach on the other side when we were watching the sunrise. These things were EVERYWHERE! Shad chased one and it was so fast!

 We found this boogy board on the beach and tested it out. It was broken and not the easiest thing to ride. We rented some surf boards a little later in the morning and those were a blast.
One thing I do not love about the ocean is the salt burn in my nose!

 This was at the RainForest Cafe in Disneyworld. Looved the food!

 The view from my hammock at the Disney World resort Hotel we stayed in while Shad had the conference. Pretty much amazing..

 We stopped at wally world and what would you know... it rained. AGAIN.
It rained for the first 4 days we were there for a half hour. It was like a monsoon!

 Us on another day it rained. At least we were prepared with out jackets!

 This was us tubing in the Rainbow River. The water was so clear it looked like a swimming pool!

 We burned our feet walking on the cement.. hot hot hot

It was so much stinking fun. We had a blast!!
