GivE ThanKs, for AngeLs are AmOng Us

I actually just want to let everyone know that miracles are all around us if we but open our eyes and recognize what the Lord blesses us with.We need to remember to give thanks to Him for everything we have. I have seen miracle after miracle and want to let you all know that God is watching out for us and is always knocking on our hearts, if we will but open up and listen. I am going to tell you about a few miracles I've witnessed.

Miracle 1:One of my sisters is Diabetic, and has had many complications. When she was diagnosed at the age of 10 she was hospitalized in the ICU and almost passed away. She should have and would have if my mom hadn't been inspired to take her in the night she did. Kirstie wouldnt have still been here in the morning had the spirit's promtings not been heard.. We fasted and prayed and she pulled through when odds were against us.

Miracle 2: Not too long ago (few years-ish) my mom had gotten really sick, and we didn't know why. After many tests and doctor visits- specialists, tears and frustration, we found out that her cells had taken on all the characteristics of Leukemia. Our entire family again- fasted and prayed our hearts out. Slowly her cells began to return to normal and she got better.

Miracle 3: My ex boyfriend's niece Isabel had a tumor show up out of nowhere. She was 5, and the softball size tumor had shown itself on her inner thigh. She went through chemo and with lots of prayers and faith she went into remission. Not too long after Tyler's niece was better, his Brother Nic found out he had cancer also. Again with Chemo, faith, and strength he pulled through and went into remission.

Miracle 4 :Last year Kirstie had a staff infection, and for those who don't know much about Diabetes, getting any kind of sickness- even a common cold- is 10 times worse when you are Diabetic. Any sickness is BAD. She had a staff infection that should have been worse than it was- it was in her arm and had begun spreading upward toward her chest. If it had spread far enough without being found and treated it would have gotten into her heart and killed her.

As for me and my own personal miracles, I've had a few. When I was younger I was almost kidnapped on a darkened street late at night. I'd wanted to wear my favorite "high heels" but last minute changed my mind and wore tennis shoes. (i'd worn my high heels every single day until they were so worn out they broke) My friend and I somehow managed to outrun a grown man for 3 blocks and made it home safe. I know I was watched over that night, because there was no way being less than 8 years old, running that far, and that fast, and not even being hardly winded.
Last year I fell asleep driving on the freeway with my friend asleep in the passenger seat. I was going 75 on cruise control at 9:00 am and woke when the right side of my car hit the barrier and was almost on it's side. I had crossed every lane of traffic without hitting anyone, and somehow managed NOT to roll my car. I got out of the car, and if I hadn't SEEN myself up on the wall i wouldn't have believed what happened. There was absolutely nothing visibly wrong with my car.. If i had rolled over my friend would probably have been killed. She was reclined in the seat next to me and her seatbelt wouldn't have done anything at all. I KNOW I was looked after that day, because I SHOULD have flipped my car.. And again last year I was in a car accident that totaled both cars, but nobody was seriously injured. That again to me was miraculous because we should both have been seriously hurt and our cars were pretty mangled.

I know this topic is random but my sister was diagnosed with MRSA recently and if you look it up it's an awful infection that is very resistant to antibiotics. We had thought it was staff a few months ago when it showed up on her chin (a separate time from when she actually HAD staff), but it came back this month right next to her eye. They came out as cysts and that is how they were tested to find out what exactly she had. For as long as she has had it, in all honesty- being untreated it should have killed her. Especially being a diabetic.. again another witness to me that God is VERY, VERY aware of us and takes care of us!

I just want to express my thankfulness and vocally say that I know we all have guardian angels watching out for us everyday and as long as we are doing what's right we will be taken care of. God is VERY real, and He loves each and every one of us!!!
