My last minute work costume

{yes, this was in my drafts from LAST YEAR!!! So I'm posting it since I already wrote it}

I got a sitter last minute So i could go to my work halloween party. I'm all about dressing up and my team had a batman theme going on so I HAD to coordinate!! Here's what I came up with using things around the house and a couple small purchases.

For me:
I got cheap halloween makeup at walmart for like $3. A white, red, and black in separate tubes. I had a striped shirt I never wear so I got green neon spray paint for $5 and sprayed it. Yes, it was a little bit crispy. I already had a black vest and black pants. I used green hair chalk for my hair. Walmart didn't have green hair spray in the Halloween stuff. I think the hair chalk can be found in the kids toy section. I put white all over my face and black around my eyes in a messy manner. I used toilet paper  (you heard right) to create "scar tissue" around my mouth. I got it wet with water and used the white paint to keep it sticking to my face. I put the red paint over it and on my lips. Didn't want perfection here so it's messy just like the joker. I was surprised how creepy I looked!

 Hunter (my mini joker):
I already had green craft paint and used that to paint Hunter a vest. The vest I used was an old hand me down. Im sure you could find one at DI for cheap. I put a white button up onesie in him and some black pants we had on hand. I used a little red paint to give him his smile. Put a little gel in his hair a viola.

Creepy joker and my cute mini!! Pulled together in a couple hours with {mostly} things we had on hand at home!

We coordinated well with our batman group and I had so much fun dressing him up!
