Fit mama comin at ya

I've been trying to get back into working out recently and boy. It's kickin my butt! I gained 50 friggin lbs when I was pregnant. Holy crap. I know. But here I am. Luckily breastfeeding has been helpin me lose some of it and although I can squeeze Into some of my pre baby pants, I still have a ton of work to do! Any mamas reading this know what im talkin about. Dang lose skin and those fetchin dimples. Im bound and determined to get back to my pre bahy shape. Kind of funny looking back now. Before i got preggo i thought i was "chubby" and needed to tighten uo and lose weight. Now, i look at myself from before and wonder what the heck i was i thinking?!?! I looked pretty good! Especially compared to right now. At least thats how i feel. Pretty crazy how different we see ouraelves feom day to day isnt it? I really just want to gwt back to the place where i feel good in my own skin. Screw the scale, screw my pant size, i just want to feelbhappy and healthy! Im starting by workin out. Definitwly makes me happy and getsbthose endorphins pumpin! I suggest tou try it. There are a million benefits to exercise. Anywho. Heres what ive been up to.

Yesterday I did three sets of a circuit, 30 reps each exercise- crunches, leg raises, reverse crunches, toe touches, heel grabs, along with some heel kicks to work my rear a bit. Today I actually went to the gym with my sister and worked my arms. Boy oh boy I missed lifting weights!!! I worked bi and tri and my back and did more abs. Feels good!! Tomorrow is going to be a cardio day out on the trail along side some butt work. Gotta lift this saggy booty! Yay! I love cardio day!! I'm a big fan of runnin. Ive been eatin better too. Ill post some of my eas meAL plans soon. I have a lot of different things i eat. Cute shuttle driver jon from work tells me that i eat weird. Haha.

I just signed up for the pink series half marathon in October so my goal is to beat my last two running times. I've got to beat 2:04. I know I can do it so I'll be training quite a bit! Cant wait! I've only got a fee weeks until vegas too so I'm busting rump to try and get in a little bit better shape. Otherwise im not going to love wearing my suit.. boo. That will suck. So.. here's to vegas and working hard for the body! :)
