More July fitness

I did my workout last night and completely forgot to post. MY BAD! In my defense, my hubby has been sick, i had to take an exam, made treats for a birthday at work, and tried to clean my house.. I had a lot going on. I actually did my workout while i waited for my cupcakes to bake :) and yes. I definitely ate one while they were warm! I'm all about balance. I'll eat cookies/treats and I'll eat a salad and workout. It's truly all in the balance to be happy for me. I used to diet hard core and never ate sweets or indulged in anything "unclean." I was super duper fit but it was too hard and it obviously didn't last. I love the saying, one cheat meal wont make you fat just as one clean meal wont make you skinny. It's true! It's all in portion control and balance people!! 
Anyway, this is what I did last night for my workout last night. Oh, and I take my rest days on Sundays. :) 

all you need is a slippery floor (tile/wood etc) and some socks -OR- some carpet and two pages from a magazine

i used my kitchen floor and some socks on my feet


yesterday's WOD (workout of the day)

you'll do 3 rounds of the following:

~1~ thigh blasters -15 
*kneel on the two magazine pages (or use 2 paper towels on the hard floor) and slide knees apart, then bring them back in) killer for inner thigh burn!
~2~ plank slide outs -20
*start in plank position, slide on feet bringing knees toward chest, slide back out to plank
~3~side lunge -5 each side
*slide leg out into a side lunge and back in
~4~mountain climbers -20
~5~glute bridge slide out -10
*glute bridge position, while keeping your rear in the air, slide feet out until your legs are straight. (you really have to squeeze) then slide feet back in until you're back into glute bridge. burns the back of the thighs big. yowsa
~6~spiderman climbers -20
